EOTech sight helps young man go hunting for the first time.
I would like to thank the makers of the finest site out there. With the use of your site i was able to make a 13 year old boy feel like he fit in a little more than before. My name is Robert Young and i have a step son Brett who was blinded when he was 7 years old. He had adapted to life as best he could ( by riding his bicycle with the help of others on the side line giving him direction and other amazing feats). A couple of years ago his older brother was old enough to start hunting with me. although Brett was old enough to hunt i just couldn't figure out how to accommodate him. Last year i put together a Remington 870 with the Blackhawk Knoxx recoil reducing stock i just couldn't figure out how to put a site on there that would allow me to be his eyes. I tried laser and other inferior sites but found out they just could not stand up to the recoil of the 12 gage shotgun. And then a buddy of mine that has a gun store sold me an EOTech site that i knew was the right combination. I have used an EO Tech site for the last five years on a entry gun that i use on an regional swat team. I don't know how i had not thought about it before then but when my buddy sold that to me it just clicked. On Saturday morning November 20th 2010 at 6:39am I was able to help Brett fill that void of being able to hunt. He took a 4 point buck that field dressed at 120 lbs. again i wish to thank you for making such a fine product and allowing a 13 year old to fulfill his dream. Robert Young.
